i accidentally knocked over my partners bankers lamp and the glass shade smashed. When i tried to take it off, i can see that the wires go all the way through the bulb, the lampstand and to the plug. Old fanlight door frame has multiple cracks where the hinges are screwed on. Door does not shut or open well. Possibly needs the cracks gluing together, or part of the frame replacing, and the door remounted on hinges.
