Power supply cable that goes into motherboard caught on fire recently, got a new psu but not booting up

I have a large, tower, gaming PC, that I want swapping into a smaller form case. I have spoken to the original builder and all the components will fit - aside from a new mother board and PSU - so I need someone to take the time to move everything from the old PC case, to the new PC case! I will share the spec, so we can be certain everything is right. This can be done at my place, somewhere quiet with space!
