Need a Cat5e/6 ethernet cable terminated as RJ45 at both ends in my flat. The cable is already installed in the walls — just needs the faceplates swapped from phone (RJ11) to ethernet (RJ45) and properly terminated. The job: • One end is in my hallway cupboard (next to my Openreach ONT and router) • Other end is in a bedroom where the existing phone faceplate is already broken/removed • Both ends currently have phone-style sockets that need replacing with RJ45 ethernet faceplates • Cable needs punching down at both ends using T568B standard • Test with a cable tester to confirm it works before leaving Parts: Happy to supply the parts myself — just let me know exactly what you need and I’ll order them in before the job. Or include them in your quote if you’d prefer to bring your own. Either works. Tools you’ll need to bring: punchdown tool and cable tester.
