Basically ive bought a ryzen 7 9800xd 3 cpu but my motherboard doesnt support it and i didnt realise so im wondering if i can get a motherboard change. (FYI I DONT HAVE A MOTHERBOARD LET ME KNOW IF I NEED TO PURCHASE ONE)

I need help upgrading from a ryzen 9 7900x to a ryzen 7 9800x3D, i am not confident doing this on my own, espcially since i have an water cooler (Corsair iCUE H150i ELITE XT). I should also mention this PC was a custom build form PC specialist so the cables are zip-tied and i am unsure where some of the cables lead, generally just do not want to take the risk as i am not a professional with PC building.

Either set is fine Please advise if I need extra components or leads to ensure that the Lian Li Wireless Fans can be installed without running out of Headers etc as this part I am unsure off. As I don’t want someone to come around to install and realize they can’t install install the fans due to some limitations. I would like to use those fans please. I will buy all the parts before the day of project. On the day of project you need to use the parts and build the gaming pc, install the windows and test that if everything is working normal.
