We purchased a new cooker but the lid won't fully open as the kitchen cupboard is in the way and it needs cutting down. Is there any carpenters out there that can cut down the kitchen cupboard?

I would like to have two rectangular openings cut into the back panel of my hi-fi cabinet (photos attached) to allow easier access to cords: • Bottom shelf opening: approx. 410mm wide × 150mm high • Middle shelf opening: approx. 410mm wide × 100mm high The cut edges should be sanded smooth. The cabinet is made of mango wood, and the back panel is about 12mm thick. Please let me know if you can carry out the work on-site at my home in Enfield, or if the cabinet would need to be taken away. I am flexible on timing and happy to work around your availability. Quotes including labour and any necessary materials would be appreciated.

We’re looking for a handy person/carpenter to help build a set of wooden planter boxes for the front of our fast food restaurant. The aim is to create a small outdoor terrace with some privacy for customers to eat outside. Details: • Approx. 1.5m space from shop door to street available for the terrace. • Need planter-style boxes/dividers (long rectangular wooden boxes with walls at the bottom, where bushes/plants can be placed on top). • Materials (wood, screws, etc.) can be collected from B&Q or similar – we’ll cover costs. • The boxes will act as a low “wall” along the terrace to give some separation from the street. • We’ll handle the tiling/flooring – this task is just for the wooden box construction and installation. What’s Needed: • Pick up materials (or we can arrange delivery). • Build and assemble the planter boxes. • Ensure they’re sturdy, weather-resistant, and neatly finished. Skills Required: • Carpentry/handyman experience prefferable.
