My cat has broken the door handle to the kitchen trying to force his way in. He’s not allowed in there as he eats laundry pods, sponges etc. the handle is now really loose and feels like there’s no resistance when you push it down. I’ve tried to take it apart but can’t seem to make any sense of it. The handles also now move down when you press the latch in which they didn’t do before.

Hole in plasterboard wall due to heavy duty fixings not being fitted into a stud. I think the hole will need cutting out and a new piece of plasterboard fitted, or mesh placed over gap
