Hi there, I’m looking for a handyman or tradesperson to come to my home in Slough for a couple of quick jobs. ​First, I need someone to measure and trim down a plastic air conditioner window panel that I ordered slightly too wide. I'd like you to measure the window frame and cut the panel perfectly on-site so it fits exactly. ​Second, while you're here, I also need one set of window blinds installed, which should be a quick and straightforward job. ​Please let me know your availability and your rate/call-out fee for these two tasks. One pair of interior door handles need to be replaced in the flat, bedroom door, no lock needed

We have two sets of wooden blinds that we've ordered for our home, however we are unable to fix it ourselves, and will need help. We've ordered the blinds from India, and they come with brackets that we are unable to install ourselves. There is a reference video that the manufacturer sent us, we can't really ascertain how helpful the video is but we can share it with you. We also have a Phillips ceiling light that we need help installing in three of our rooms - it requires moving around electrical wiring that we aren't comfortable with.

Looking for someone who has experience installing mural wallpapers (not just standard rolls), ideally with Belarte or similar high-end non-woven murals. The wall has loft angles/sloping ceilings, so accuracy is important. The wallpaper and paste are already onsite. You’ll just need your own wallpapering tools (brush, smoothing tools, sponge, trimming tools, etc.). I shall supply the above hardware and you supply small fixings, connectors etc. and give larger screwfix/toolstation shopping list to me. My timescale is flexible, even evenings/your spare time. This is just the beginning of a considerable modernisation of this neglected house and if your quotation is within my tight budget, other projects include complete double glazing, complete rewire, replace all doors, install a used conservatory, bath, toilet plus decorating etc. etc. plus any other ideas that you may have. Thus, this is not a one-off job and will allow me to see your workmanship, and I am looking for someone trustworty who provides quality workmanship/good ideas/contacts/supplier discounts or reclaimed materials, however is within my very tight budget, as I am retired and in need of long-term help. I am hoping roughly £150, if this is reasonable and I/we can be your labourer, even if only to supply the T and biscuits🙂. My neighbour also requires work done and can even merge the work together. If interested, please can you provide your best genuine estimate to begin with as price/quality/reliability are the priority, and I shall then compare it with the other responses and shall reply if I can afford it. One top brick on a small front garden wall became loose after being lightly knocked during a delivery. The brick itself is not damaged and has already been placed back into position.
