We’re looking for someone experienced in block paving and outdoor maintenance to help restore and tidy up our front pathway/driveway area. The work required includes: 1. Create border: create a neat, defined line along the existing paving where it meets the grass and soil. 2. Remove weeds and debris: Thoroughly remove weeds, moss, soil and debris from between the paving blocks and around the edges. An outdoor vacuum can be provided if helpful. 3. Clean and pressure wash: Apply paving cleaner (which we’ll supply) and pressure wash the entire paved area to remove dirt, staining and general build-up. The Tasker will need to bring their own pressure washer. 4. Re-sand the paving: Once the paving is clean and sufficiently dry, brush fresh jointing sand into the gaps between the blocks to leave a neat, finished appearance. Sand will be supplied. Important information: Due to the current hosepipe restrictions, we’re ideally looking for an established professional cleaning/maintenance business that can legally carry out pressure washing under any applicable commercial exemption. Please confirm this before offering. We can supply the paving cleaner, jointing sand and outdoor vacuum, but you’ll need to bring your own tools and pressure-washing equipment for the above reason. We’re flexible on dates and happy to answer any questions and provide photos. We’re also hoping to capture some before-and-after content of the transformation, including a few short clips of the work being carried out. Please only make an offer if you’re comfortable with some filming taking place. I need help with preparing a solid, long-lasting base for a shed or future garden house, and also replacing/tidying a walkway. 1.
