Need new Venetian blinds installed (will require drill as don’t have one), otherwise believe everything comes in the blind kit. Please only experienced people. Into brick / masonry so will require brick anchors for the screws

Untangle blinds. Can’t seem to move them

I need someone experienced with fitting blinds to reinstall a roller blind that has come down above a kitchen window. The blind is approximately 2.5 metres wide, so it is relatively heavy and will likely require two people or someone comfortable working with larger blinds. The original fixings have pulled away, and I believe the window lintel/casing may be metal, so this is not a straightforward plasterboard installation. The tasker will need: * A powerful drill suitable for drilling into metal/masonry if required * Appropriate drill bits and fixings * Experience assessing the existing mounting points and securing the blind safely * A ladder if needed Please only apply if you have experience with blind installation and are equipped to drill into metal or other hard surfaces. I am looking for a secure, long-term fix rather than a temporary repair. If possible, please include details of similar jobs you have completed.

The roller blind jammed and is now broken.

Very long black out blind needs putting up in kids nursery. The blind could be too small for the window so it may need some Adjustment or packaging out in the window reveal. It’s only 1 blind.

Putting up Roman Blinds in a bathroom

Need some blinds re-installed. I have had them in over a year but accidentally knocked them. Just need someone to fix them back in as I don’t have the tools anymore to do so.

Roman blind not working as the guide lead next to the cord has detached itself

Its a simple black out blind instal, the only part which may require an extra tool is that we have the original metal blind hangers which may need to be cut off in order to instal the new ones. Photo attached below. Both bedroom windows are the same, and we have the instal instructions which came with the binds.

The mechanism on two roller blinds is broken

My landlady bought a DBL M08 4230: VELUX basic blackout blind for the skylight in my bedroom. She told me to install it myself but I've tried (with a screwdriver, electric screwdriver etc.) and can't figure it out. Also, the suspension cord on one of the smaller blinds has worn out or come loose too. I’ve managed to fix it in place but it only half closes. I’m confident this can be fixed by someone with a bit more know-how than me (I’ve tried looking it up, it looks as though fixing it may require taking the blind off and I didn’t want to end up not being able to reinstall it), although the cord may need replacing.

One of the chords of my blinds is fraying. They are not nylon. Might be cotton? Needs repairing. The remaining 3 blinds require inspection and repair as required.

The old set of wooden Venetian blinds needs to be taken down and removed (off premises by you) and a new set of similar blinds installed (which we have). They are 2cms wider than the original blinds so the old fixings need to come off and the new braces reset slightly further apart.
