I need vinyl sheet flooring laid in my son’s bedroom. I already have the vinyl sheet and floor adhesive. Some large furniture cannot be moved out, so the vinyl will need to be cut and fitted neatly around it. Please bring the tools needed (knife, straight edge, etc.) and make sure the flooring is laid flat and tidy.

I have painted skirting (pvc) beading for a redecorated bedroom and need this cut to size and installed by the skirting boards. Approx. 13m total. I have a mitre saw.

New flooring to be installed, old laminate to be removed. Subfloor requires inspecting to ensure proper installation. Approx 60sqm across 2 Bed property. Must have previous experience with herringbone / click LVT installations. Have proper tools such as a vinyl cutter or mitre saw, tapping block, spacers, measuring tools, and a laser or chalk line for accurate layout. Prepared to level the subfloor, although may not be required as we don’t know given old flooring is still down. Then fit underlay correctly, and trim new boards to neatly fit under existing skirting boards. Summary: 1. Remove old flooring. 2. Check subfloor is level. If additional levelling is required we can agree an additional fee for this work. 3. Install new underlay. 4. Install new 4mm LVT in herringbone formation. 5. LVT to be fitted neatly under existing skirting boards. No beading. 6. Sand stairs (has been varnished previously). Prep for painting. No painting required. 7. Fit LVT to staircase landing sections 8. Finish work to a high standard. 9. Ideally, dispose of all rubbish. If disposal adds substantially to the cost please let me know and quote excluding disposal. 10. Leave clean and tidy. Property in Wood Green, N22. Free parking outside property. I need a tradesman to: • Secure existing wooden subfloor (screw down squeaky boards). • Lay 15mm Phonestar SBX acoustic boards (supplied), tape joints, and seal perimeter with acoustic sealant. • Lay 220mm wide engineered oak flooring (supplied), floating installation with glued tongue-and-groove (PVA) and expansion gap. • Fit wooden beading around perimeter (~14.3m). Room size: 4.44m × 2.73m (approx. 12m²). Materials: Flooring, SBX boards, tape, and sealant supplied. Beading to be supplied by tradesman. Location: Central London. Expected Labour Time: 1 day for a skilled installer. Please provide a quote for labour (and supply of beading).

The bedroom measures 13 metre squared. Underlay has already been laid, it is just the laminate wood flooring that needs to be laid.

Two main areas of kitchen counter are lovely Italian marble, for a kitchen installed 3 years ago. Has never been resealed since. There are various watermarks and stains that have formed, and maybe they can't be removed, but if you can polish any out and at least make sure we protect it better going forward that be so great...
