The floor is engineered oak (I believe), and has surface scratches, scuff marks and some black marks from general wear. Before committing to the work, I’d like you to assess whether the floor has sufficient wear layer to be professionally sanded and refinished. Living room wooden floor originally varnished in mahogany varnish, but the varnish is chipping off.
