To prevent this, floorers cut the lino in excess of the measurement. Floorers can also check that the room temperature is at least 20℃. They place the lino on the floor without adhesive and leave it for at least 24 hours to acclimate to the room’s temperature.
Laying and glueing the lino
After the 24-hour acclimation, floorers lay down the lino. They need to do this carefully, avoiding creases when positioning the lino flooring. They then apply adhesive to the underside or the lino flooring’s edges, following the instructions and requirements.
Finishing the lino floor
Your hired floorers finish the lino flooring using a heavy roller to push out any air bubbles that may have developed as the adhesive cures. They also apply a linoleum sealant to provide your new lino flooring with a protective layer.
