We're looking for someone (or two) to install a Pergolux 3.5m x 3m motorised awning, mounted to the external wall above the decking. The awning comes with its own power cable that needs to be wired in, ideally, we'd like this connected via the existing external light circuit rather than run as a separate new circuit.

The previous owners rendered straight over every single weep hole. I need them all re-opened to restore proper code-compliant cavity ventilation and stop a musty subfloor odour. Scope of work: Please walk the property perimeter to locate, chip open, and thoroughly clear out the rendered-over weep holes around the external base of the house. Please ensure clean, straight cuts through the render without cracking or damaging the surrounding wall face or structural bricks. Once the gaps are fully raked clear of debris, insert protective Weepa screens into the opened joints for a pest-proof finish. Must bring own tools and sweep up all masonry dust afterward. Reposting this ad as there are a few more tasks and details than initially anticipated. Need a handyman for drywall repair in a few places, one of which includes bracket installation and attaching a bookcase to a well. Prefer an all inclusive quote or hourly. First pic - The drywall was damaged due to a baby gate. Need someone to patch up, paint and attach a metal bracket to stop this from happening again. Note that the hole needs to be patched, painted and dried before bracket can be installed. This may require couple of visits between painting and bracket installation.I can supply the paint and metal bracket etc. 2nd pic - fixing a 1-2 inch scratch in the drywall in another room - this probably only needs paint. Again I can supply the paint. 3rd and 4th pics - fixing the drywall in another section of the house which has been drilled by mistake by a trade. Attaching a bookcase to the wall - note that you need to be physically strong as the top half of the bookcase needs to be lifted a couple of feet to place it on the bottom section. Details: • Wall has been opened up for access for a water leak that's since been fixed • Require proper patching of the cut‑outs, including tape, base coat and top coat. • Sanded smooth and ready for paint, matching surrounding wall as closely as possible. • Area may need to be opened up a bit wider to access studs / add backing timber, as there’s currently no framing behind Available today after 3pm or tomorrow (Wednesday) anytime. Ideally done before Thursday as new carpet going in and hoping the repair can be done prior to this.
