Hi! I'm looking for an experienced bricklayer to complete three small repairs on the exterior brick walls of my home in one visit. Photos of each are attached. 1. Damaged brick (Photo 1). One brick next to a timber frame has its face broken away, leaving an opening into the wall cavity. It needs to be cut out and replaced with a matching or close-matching brick, then re-mortared. 2. Peeling render and crumbling mortar (Photo 2). At an upper corner near the eave, the painted coating is peeling and the mortar behind it is soft and sandy. The work involves: - removing the loose coating - raking out and repointing the affected joints - patching the render - priming and painting to match as closely as possible If you notice anything that might be letting water into this area, please let me know. The house is older, so if you'll be scraping paint, please tell me whether you test for lead first. 3. Two wall penetrations (Photo 3). On a painted brick wall there is: - a large hole, possibly from an old vent or pipe, that needs to be filled and closed off properly - an unsealed gap around a PVC pipe that needs to be packed and sealed It is okay not to touch up the paint afterwards. The main goal is to stop rodents and water getting into the wall cavity. Chisel the base flush with the ground level without damaging the driveway. 2. Re-lay the collapsed section of the front wall (approx. 20 bricks plus capping bricks). 3. Re-bed any loose bricks along the wall so everything is sturdy, level, and secure. 4. Finish the edge of the remaining wall with a neat, straight vertical stop-end. 5. Scrape off and clean old mortar from reusable bricks and the base before laying. We had an air-conditioner that was like a wall mount and we took it out and we put in a split system and I sort of tried to put some bricks there but it really needs to be properly bricked up. I have spare bricks and everything just need to supply probably a bag of cement mix and he was looking for someone to sort of brick it up so that it looks okay , Better than what it looks like at the moment and we can paint so you can’t tell there was a hole there so match the pattern .

We are removing 2 old wall air-conditioning units, and need the external walls bricked up, as well as internally where an old vent was. One of the airconditioning units is on 2nd level. Units will be removed seperately and have bricks.

Brick matching is important because of position. I have 3 spots where I'd like brick repair to my brick veneer unit. There is a spot on front wall where air conditioner is that I will remove once it's organised. The other two are where a gas heater was removed. I want it to look nice. Dimension of air conditioner spot:660 X 440mm. Dimension of gas heater spot X 2: 500 X 400mm. There's also a mortar repair spot, I'm not sure what happened there. Let me know if you can do it! Hi there, I am demolishing a brick fireplace that (it’s not original to my heritage house), so I am trying to restore the fireplace to its original form. I started demoing the bricks and realised there is likely one section that will require a brick saw or some kind of jack hammering. I only want some of the facade bricks removed, and I think that’ll involve a brick saw? Check out the pics for reference (note the bricks highlighted in blue are single layer, ie there is nothing behind them.. bricks highlighted in green are attached to other bricks, but I only want that single layer removed). You’ll need your own tools but hopefully this should be a small job :) * once the brick is removed I will have the fireplace re-fluted/certified by professionals

There is an existing hole in the brickwork where an old air conditioner used to sit. I would like to brick it up with the bricks I have supplied. Airtasker must bring mortar for in between bricks. (Please match existing colour)
