Some of the external weatherboards need to be replaced

We have what looks to be one weatherboard, could be two, that has rot and runs on the top of the brick work. We need it fremoved and replaced. There is a downpipe over it, so that may need to be removed, if the weather board can not be slid out from behind and replaced the same way. I can not attach the photo sorry.

Hi Sean, Its easier to explain with photos. Ive added them all in the below google photos link https://photos.app.goo.gl/95G11CN47D6YQMmh6 As you can see the water seems to be rotting away the weatherboards where the gutter meets the weatherboard. It has the rotted away around the window frame as has made its way inside aswell. I have two goals. Get the areas that are rotten replaced and solve the root cause and improve the gutter system to mitigate the amount of water that could get trapped and start rotting. I'm guessing that installing some flashing/barrier or something so that the water does get trapped against the weatherboard. Cheers Matt

Hi, I am looking for a carpenter who can help me to install laundry door and also wanted to install weatherboard on small patch outside of the wall. Apart from that, I need to install 2 small wooden plates. One wooden plate will be on the wooden frame to hold the door and second one on the small laundry window. I can supply - wooden door for the laundry door, wooden plates and weatherboard for the installation. Hinges and screws we can use the same from the existing door. A weatherboard has come loose due to presumably high wind. It need to be fixed back. I’m presuming it might need a nail gun or something else to keep it secure. You will need your own ladder as mine is not high enough.

Saturday, Help Chippy and other tradesman to hold the weatherboards on trestles, so we can mail gun them in position.
