Hello Timing: I am flexible with the time of this job (it does not need to be immediately done this week) to ensure I have the right person with the right tools and budget. I'm looking for an experienced handyman or installer to supply and install outdoor privacy screening in my rear courtyard. I want to use shadecloth material NOT metal mesh to cover the area similar to what was used on the strata pergoda. The purpose is to improve privacy from a neighbouring property while preserving the existing trees and garden. Scope of work Measure the area in person. Supply and install sandstone-coloured outdoor privacy screening (similar to exterior flyscreen/privacy mesh) - if you look at the roof of the pergoda, this is the exact same colour I want (I believe the product is cooleroo/colouroo in sand or sandstone from bunnings). Install screening only in the marked sections shown in the attached mock-up. The existing trees must remain in place and continue to grow naturally through the open section. The installation should be neat, taut and suitable for permanent outdoor use. Installer to advise on the most appropriate framing or fixing method. Materials I'm looking for a sandstone/beige privacy mesh or exterior screening material (not decorative laser-cut panels or timber lattice). Depending on the quotes I may pre-purchase the material myself. Hey, I’m looking for someone to install about 7.5 metres of 1.8m-high bamboo privacy screening on my apartment balcony in Mitchelton. I’ll be supplying the screening – I just need it installed. It’s a rental, so nothing can be drilled into the balcony or permanently fixed. It just needs to be secured using a removable method that’ll hold up in the weather. I was going to do it myself, but I’m always flat out with work and just don’t have the time. It shouldn’t take long at all for someone who’s done this kind of thing before. Let me know if it’s something you can do and what you’d charge.
