I’m looking for a builder/handyman for a small job in Newtown 2042. I need someone to (i) source a new external solid wooden door; (ii) install a dog flap I’ve purchased into the new door; and (iii) take down the old door, and hang the new door (with dog flap) in the existing frame. I’ll also need the lock from the current door moved onto the new door. I will keep the old door in storage. I've attached photos of the existing door/frame/hinges/lock for reference, as well as a picture of the dog flap I've purchased. The lock was recently serviced, and the hinges look to be in good condition - neither should need replacing. The current door is 203.5cm H x 80.5cm W x 4.0cm D. The top edge of the lock unit in the existing door is 122cm high (from the base of the door), and it's inside edge is 9.5cm in from the side edge of the door. I have vacated a rental property and have been told to remove the pet door and patch it up. It's in the laundry door which is external but it is not a solid timber door. Hollow in middle. So long as it's patched and tidy it will be fine
