I have moved into a new premises and need the cords fixed on my blind. I am unable to tilt them open, but I can pull them up and down 7/8th of the way. I think it could just be some knots, but I don't want to damage them.

I have three general jobs: 1) I have 7x smoke alarms that need to be installed in the ceiling. (There are lithium ion battery operated and do not need wire connections). The alarms can mostly be installed in-place of the old, wired alarms - please disconnect and remove the old installation plates in the ceiling. I'm not sure if patching is required. Please supply your own screws and wall mates as the screws supplied with the smoke alarms don't seem to be the right size. 2) There are 5 doors in the house which are not closing/latching properly. 4 of the doors are closing but just not latching easily. 1 of the door is not closing, the door grinds into the frame in one corner and gets stuck. 3)I have a heavy internal wooden sliding door which has a stopper in the runner above, but the stopper keeps coming close and the door keeps sliding out of position. Just need a solution to keep the stopper in place, maybe an extra screen through the runner.

The shed needs picking up after the storm & bolting down to the floor. I also would like to have some tiles that lifted up be temporarily glued down.

I need an experienced plasterer or handyman to repair a hole in an internal plasterboard wall. The damage is approximately 30cm wide and 15cm high (photos attached). The plaster has broken away and will require a proper patch. Paint match also required
