- install a new DC ceiling fan with remote that has been supplied by myself to the Living area between 2 downright (new position - no existing fixtures here). Access hatch/panel above kitchen as shown in photo. - install 3 new double power points in Study. Due to location, these will need to be run via a slim conduit as the power available is on the adjacent wall. - install a power point in the kitchen. There is existing power closeby.

We have an ongoing water leak issue in one of our children’s bedrooms that began during Cyclone Alfred. We live in a G+3 townhouse, and the affected bedroom is located on the second level. Since the initial incident, the body corporate and insurer have engaged multiple building companies and contractors to inspect the property. However, despite numerous assessments, no repairs have been carried out to date. The issue persists whenever it rains, with water seeping through the ceiling and dripping into the bedroom. Most recently, the leak reoccurred during last week’s rainfall. Based on observations, we suspect the water ingress may be originating from the external cladding and/or seepage from the third-floor balcony above. We are seeking a contractor who can investigate and rectify the source of the leak, including applying appropriate sealants or waterproofing measures to prevent further water ingress. We also require repairs to the damaged bedroom ceiling once the leak has been resolved. Please note that access for inspection may require a ladder, aerial lift, or scissor lift due to the building height and location of the suspected leak source.

One of the ceiling-mounted brackets for an existing roller blind has come loose. The screw holes in the ceiling no longer hold securely, causing the blind mount to detach. Looking for someone to inspect and properly re-mount the bracket, including repairing or reinforcing the fixing points if required. May require new anchors, filling and re-drilling holes, or an alternative mounting solution. Existing blind remains on site and should be retained and reinstalled.

I have purchased curtains from BlindsOnline and need some help installing them. There are two rails (blockout and sheer curtains) in one bedroom. The blinds are ceiling fixing, so will require a cavity anchor, a spring toggle, or another similar mechanism to ensure safe affixing. The difficulty is the distance from the ceiling to the cement of the floor above the apartment is only 40mm deep, so the anchor screw needs to be quite short. The curtain brackets take a 1/8'' bolt, and the length of the bolt will need to be less than about 40mm with a spring loaded toggle or similar to put through the ceiling cavity.

I need someone to look at the motorised roller blinds on my balcony, the blind doesn’t lift all the way. The blinds raise and lower without issue, no odd noises or function … just doesn’t raise fully. Photo attached. Additionally I would like a hook drilled into a concrete wall.

The kitchen sink is now about 2 cm lower from original position. Plumbing is holding it secure in cupboard. This has happened to other sinks in the apartment complex. It needs to be repositioned & clamped in place until secure
