Installation of hybrid flooring with a click system in a small apartment kitchen. All flooring boards are already supplied. It’s only about 2 to 3 square metres of floor space, straight layout, no island, no awkward angles, and the existing floor is flat. Looks like a simple job from what I can see.

Lay a piece of flooring which is circa 70cm by 1.2m in a small area of kitchen. We have flooring which just needs to be cut to size and laid. Does not have to be a super polished finish - this is just a cavity where the fridge will go, just need floor to be level with rest of kitchen (currently fridge is sitting on concrete that is 2cm lower than the kitchen flooring). We need flooring laid so fridge can be more easily moved in/out for servicing. We will have a removalist move the fridge out so flooring can be laid.

I left a bucket of water on the floor boards only for 1 hr and came back and found a dark circle stain. I tried to iron out the moisture, tried vinegar and olive oil but I haven’t been able to remove the stain. The task is to remove and mask the stain so that it’s no longer visible on normal inspection.

Wanting to get my kitchen benchtop polished and resealed

Sand and polish my floors. The kitchen and living room built in cabinets will be removed as part of kitchen reno. The floors must be done between the strip out and installation. This will happen in next 5 to 7 weeks, dated TBC. Floor layout requiring sand and polish is marked in brown in the attached image. Floors of the bedrooms are floating hardwood and are cracking, if possible cracking should be fixed. Bedrooms do not require sand and polish.

We’re looking for an experienced timber floor professional to rejuvenate (oil polish) our hardwax-oil timber floors — no sanding. Had some scratches patched on a black wooden floor. But when dried has left these unattractive marks on floor from previous handyman. These need to be polished to leave a better result. About 4 spots. The pic is of the largest one. Approx 60cm long. Must be done on a Thursday please.
