Existing: Timber deck (approx. 6m²) with wood rot and too little clearance, stepping up to a second deck. A white painted deck (Tier 2) sits adjacent. An aircon condenser sits on a concrete slab on the deck. Reference heights: The second deck stays at 400mm from ground. The new deck must match it and align with the white painted Tier 2 deck. The existing step can be cleared so the new surface sits one step higher. Job Scope Condenser: move the unit and slab clear, then reposition on the new deck after completion. I’ll arrange an aircon electrician to disconnect and reconnect. Demolition: remove the old deck entirely (joists, boards, fixings), clear out and dispose of all waste. Ground prep: level the ground( If uneven factor in pavers) Substructure: new joists on adjustable pedestals, framed to carry the condenser slab. Decking: new boards laid to line up with the existing stepped deck (direction, spacing, edge alignment). Clean-up on completion. What we want: Remove the back half of the deck along a curved line, exposing the ground below. The remaining deck would have a curved front edge. Below it, a corten steel edge would follow the curve and hold back a gravel/pebble area planted with natives. Dimensions: The deck is 3.1 m wide. The curve would be an S-shaped curve to make more room for a tree on the left with natives scattered throughout. Carpentry scope: Cut the decking boards and joists back to the curved line, and remove the redundant framing, bearers and posts in the back section (if required). Re-support the new edge: a new bearer or posts along or near the curve, plus blocking between the joists at the cut line so every board end is fixed. Finish the curved edge. Install corten steel edging along the curve to separate the deck zone from the gravel. Potentially in-scope: Re-finish the deck in a lighter stain.

Looking for someone to repair This hole in the floorboards.

Need floating floor installed to continue through the house, about 16m2. Boards are there.

We need an extra plank of wood to stabilize our balcony. The overall balcony is secure so no structural work is needed, just extra support as some of the wood have become a bit loose due to rain.

We need to get the cement floor of our garage/laundry polished (grind and seal). The room is roughly 5760mm X 3860mm in size. The room opens up to a rear lane providing easy access. Check out the photos for a better view (all the room’s contents will be moved out for the polishing). We’re after a basic matt finish, NOT high gloss.

Patch a small damaged section of carpet, approx 500mm x 100mm in size. I have the carpet for the patch. Just needs a carpet layer with the tools to cut straight and seam tape to fix the patch to the existing carpet.
