My elderly parents need a floor in one bedroom repaired as it’s sunk in a corner. The house is very old. They want a quick fix. They also want new vinyl flooring and there’s another bit that’s alittle loose in the hall way that will need a repair. They want it done as cheap as possible so not looking to pull all the wood floors out and replaced just afew repairs and new vinyl. We will supply the vinyl. The lounge room is 4x4 , bedroom 3x3, hallway 11 meters long, kitchen 3x3ish. The kitchen is tiled so just lay floor straight over We will provide flooring as my dad wants to pick it

Need someone to repair a failed patch in an old timber floor in a bedroom. A fireplace was removed previously and the area near the wall was patched, but the current piece appears to be soft timber and has shifted/sunk, leaving a gap. I’d like the existing patch removed and replaced with a proper solid timber floorboard or suitable timber infill, fitted neatly and securely. Looking for someone with carpentry / floor repair experience rather than just general handyman work.

My outside deck is really warped and hasn't been oiled in a few years. It needs a refresh before the wet and cold winter comes. The last two winters it has swollen up causing water to pool on top of it. It will need cleaning, sanding (if you think appropriate) and finishing/oiling. I'm open to other suggestions on what you think might work. The work should be undertaken on a hot sunny day to make sure everything dries quickly. I will reimburse you for any materials (e.g. deck cleaner and decking oil) but not equipment. The deck is around 40-60sqm.
