We are looking for someone with basic IT/networking knowledge to attend a site in Wagga Wagga and help restore the network connection. The site is using a UniFi Gateway, network switch and multiple UniFi Access Points (APs). The main tasks will include: Restart/reboot the UniFi Gateway Make sure the Gateway is correctly connected between the modem and the network switch Check and reconnect network cables as required Restore the Gateway/network configuration if necessary Make sure the UniFi Gateway can detect the network switch again Make sure all UniFi Access Points are detected and come back online Confirm that the internet and Wi-Fi are working normally after the work is completed There may be some cabling work required, so please bring basic network tools and spare Ethernet/Cat6 cables if available. Someone with experience in UniFi/Ubiquiti, routers, switches, Wi-Fi networks or general IT support would be preferred.

I run a small private therapy practice and could use some help with our tech setup. The main issue is email, but honestly I'd love a broader look at things too — I'm using a few different apps and services and would like it all simpler, smoother, and cost efficient. The email problem: Our practice email is on Google Workspace/Wix, and my assistant and I both log into the same account at the same time to manage the inbox. It's causing real issues — emails keep flipping from read back to unread, and when she files an email into a folder for me, I can't see the sent replies in the thread. I don't want a separate email address for her — clients should only ever see our one practice address. I've been chatting to Claude AI about it, and the suggestion was to migrate to Microsoft 365 and set our email up as a proper shared mailbox — so we each log in separately but can both send as the one address, everything visible to me, MFA on, and OneDrive so I can get PDFs of handwritten notes from my iPad to my assistant easily to upload to client files. The bigger picture: Right now I'm juggling: Wix for the website, VentraIP for the domain, Google Workspace for email, Halaxy for records/invoicing/expenses, NovoNote and NovoPsych for assessments and notes, Zoom for telehealth, and iDrive for backup (not really using though, a bit of a hassle), across a MacBook and an underused iPad. If there's an obvious way to consolidate any of that or cut cost/complexity without disrupting the clinical software (Halaxy, NovoNote, NovoPsych are non-negotiable, they're specific to my industry), I'd love your take. My priorities are security, efficiency, and cost — in that order. Does the Microsoft 365 approach sound right to you for the email piece/something you could help me with? And separately, is a broader review of the rest something you could help with, or would you suggest I look at that differently? Keen to hear what you think it'd cost (please ignore budget section).

The phone number and email address associated with the account belong to the club’s previous secretary, and the customer advised that they are unable to contact him to obtain the verification code. Customer is seeking assistance with regaining access to the laptop/account and updating the verification details. Advised customer that this job may require additional time or cost. Looking for an experienced IT/network technician to assist me with setting up a new office network in Alexandria, Sydney. I work in IT and will be onsite completing the setup as well. I’m mainly looking for someone with good Ubiquiti UniFi and networking experience to assist with the network configuration and make sure everything is set up correctly. The office is approximately 18–20 users. All Cat6 cabling, data points, patch panels and the communications rack will already be installed by the electrical contractor. Figure out what is happening and make it work. - I'm trying to install a 2nd Unifi Access Point (via a second switch, see photo). However, when I plug it in it causes PoE power on our Switch to cut out.
