Workgroup showing as not accessible even though the computers are definitely in Workgroup. Causing connectivity issues between our photo printer/scanner (Fuji Frontier 340 - running Windows 2000 I believe) and it’s Image Controller (on a computer running Windows XP). Need help troubleshooting!

My laptop was connected to our home Wi-Fi, however the Wi-Fi now only works sometimes and not at other times. All other devices are working the Wi-Fi network. I have tried to reconnect to the Wi-Fi numerous times automatically but it cannot find the Wi-Fi network. I put in the Wi-Fi password but it doesn’t recognise the Wi-Fi password.
