Both my NBN/modem connection keeps dropping out and not connecting to smart tv + additional issue even when it does connect, the coverage doesn’t connect to my devices due the walling in my apartment with concrete. I’m looking for an experienced commercial video conferencing technician to attend an office in Melbourne CBD and diagnose several existing Yealink Microsoft Teams Room systems. Equipment includes Yealink MeetingBar A20 and A30 units with CTP18 touch screens. The A$350 budget is for the callout and up to two hours of onsite diagnosis. Any additional time, replacement parts or cabling work must be quoted and approved separately. Issues to investigate: * The Boardroom CTP18 disconnects every few minutes, goes blank and displays a “CTP18 Disconnected” message on the main screen. * Remote meeting participants sometimes have difficulty hearing people in several meeting rooms. * There may be an issue with the network ports, PoE or existing internal cabling. * The rooms have glass walls and hard surfaces, so the acoustics may also affect audio clarity. The technician should: * Check the CTP18 network connection, PoE, pairing and firmware. * Check the A20/A30 configuration and firmware. * Test the network ports and cabling. * Conduct a live Teams call to test microphone pickup and audio quality. * Advise whether the audio issues are caused by equipment, configuration or room acoustics. * Provide a short written summary of findings and recommendations. Please only respond if you have direct experience supporting Yealink A20/A30 MeetingBars and CTP18 touch screens. If fixed cabling work is required, you must have the appropriate ACMA cabling registration. This task is initially for diagnosis only. Please do not replace equipment or undertake additional work without approval.
