Hello, We are looking for a skilled handyman, joiner, or cabinet maker to repair a faulty drawer at our retail store, in Newtown. The Issue: A high-use tool drawer in our front counter is failing. It has become very difficult to open and close, with significant resistance, and it appears to be falling off its runners (tracks). This is a growing problem that is impacting our staff's workflow. The Job: The task is to replace the faulty drawer runners to make the drawer fully functional and smooth again. The scope of work will involve: 1. Assessing and removing the old, worn pair of drawer runners from both the drawer and the cabinet carcass. 2. Supplying and installing a new, high-quality pair of drawer runners that are the correct size and weight capacity for this high-volume drawer. 3. Correctly installing the drawer back into the cabinet. 4. Testing the drawer to ensure it opens and closes smoothly and fully without resistance. Please note: The successful contractor MUST supply the new replacement drawer runners. The cost for these materials must be included in your final offer. Hi! My name is Amy and I (with the help of a carpenter) have designed and made a prototype of a very large frame. The frame is made from recycled wood, glass and painted plywood that slides in and out so you’re able to change out the artwork. The corners have been connected with deep tongue and grooves. It has a spherical hollowed out bit at the top so the plywood can be pulled in and out. I’m looking for a carpenter who can help me fix up the prototype by widening the bottom and top slots, but more importantly I need someone to teach me how to build the entire frame from scratch so that I’m confident building them on my own. This includes figuring out if I’ll need access to a workshop or if it’s viable for me to set up an appropriate workstation at home that can accommodate everything I need. My goal is to produce a high-quality product that can be mounted to a wall. I am an extreme beginner to carpentry but I have done a few basic things and consider myself handy. To Summarize: I’m looking for a furniture-grade carpenter who’s happy to teach. Scope: * Tidy prototype: widen the top/bottom slots the ply rides in; general fit/finish. * Teach & co-build a repeatable version from scratch (cut list, jigs, assembly order, finishes, wall-mount solution). * Advise on workspace: whether I should use a workshop in future or set up a safe home workstation. Cadence & timing: ~once a week session, evenings or weekends until done.

Looking for someone to help replace our wooden benchtops. Unsure if we'll do wood or laminate to replace so would very much appreciate your quote for both if it varies. Need existing benchtop removed (and disposed of), then new benchtops cut to size and installed. I'll have the new benchtops delivered already/ ready on site. Three benchtops in total measuring 920mm 2160mm and 3210mm at their longest assuming a diagonal/ mitre joint where they meet. All currently 61cm deep. Drop in sink. No changes to current cabinetry. Need this under bench divider removed so we can install a beer tap system. Not sure how if it's keep the bench up or just for show. Need it removed either way so might need alternative support if ness. Also while here hoping for a quote on a number of different jobs so looking for a jack of all trades!

When I moved in, I had to remove a cupboard and the side panel of the kitchen units to fit my fridge in, which was bigger than the original space. I would like the side and a new shelf put in over the fridge. I have the side panel and the cabinet the used to be over the fridge. The cabinet in it current form will not fit, however hope we can maybe retro for it back or just shelves.

We removed the cabinet in the kitchen so that our fridge would fit. We are vacating the rental so now need the cabinet replaced in position.

Above my fridge there is shelving, however my fridge didn’t fit unless I removed the doors for the shelving above. The doors need to be cut and handles moved further up for it to be able to fit with my fridge didn't
