Could you please confirm whether you provide both supply and installation, including gib stopping, or if you prefer that I supply and install the plaster while you handle the gib stopping? The specifications for the job are as follows: 10mm Standard PB for general walls and ceilings 10mm Water Resistant PB for wet area walls (Ensuites, Bathrooms, and Powder Room) 10mm Water Resistant PB for all wet area ceilings (Alfresco, Porch, Terrace, and Balcony) Direct fix furring channel ceilings at 600mm centers for internal areas Direct fix furring channel ceilings at 450mm centers for Alfresco, Porch, Terrace, and Balcony I can supply all the materials / sheeting and you can install the GiB board and finish or you can just do the finishing if you prefer. We have a job that we need done that is replacing a ceiling on our front verandah in Hendra. It was originally made out of gyprock - but with all the rains/humidity we had a few months back it began to swell and collapse. We had a tradie from the insurance company come out and secure it - and they have determined that there is no roof leak, and that the problem was that the Gyprock was not fit for purpose - and that Fibre Cement sheets would have been the appropriate ceiling material. We are looking for a handyman/carpenter/builder to quote and hopefully replace this ceiling with Fibre Cement sheets.
