I haven't checked whether they sit flush with the joists, so please advise on that - The main problems are noise from upstairs and dust falling through, so sound reduction is the priority Scope I'd like quoted 1. Seal gaps and penetrations around the perimeter and services with acoustic sealant 2. Supply and install acoustic insulation batts between the joists 3. Install a sound-isolating ceiling frame: furring channel on resilient (rubber-padded) clips so the board is decoupled from the joists 4. Supply and install 13mm plasterboard (sound-rated board if you recommend it), with a 5-10mm perimeter gap sealed with acoustic sealant 5. Cove cornice, tape and set (3 coats), sanding Not included: any electrical work (I'll arrange an electrician for lights and wiring before the ceiling is closed in), Could you please include in your quote - A breakdown of labour and materials - Your start date, how long the job will take, I'll attach photos of the ceiling. Looking for an experienced plasterer / gyprocker to complete some finishing work in our recently renovated kitchen. Scope of work includes: 1. Install cornice along the top of the kitchen bulkhead (above wall cabinets). Approx 6.8 meters total length. 2. Patch two ceiling holes from a removed light and exhaust fan. 3. Set and sand joins so the ceiling is ready for primer and paint. Details: • Kitchen renovation recently completed. • Bulkhead above cabinets is MDF and runs along two walls. • Bulkhead will be primed/sealed before work begins • Ceiling has already had some patching done but needs finishing. • Cornice profile should match the existing cornice in the house. I need someone who is handy with a plasterers hawk and trowel. I just need to fill the valleys of galvanised bondek ceilings with cornice cement. Around 50sqm. I will be right there helping. Should be around 4 hours work.

Ok, so I attempted to render an old brick wall. It didn’t go well. I’m aware I made it worse. So now I’d like it done please. I sucked 🤦🏻‍♀️ It’s the wall in the photo and then around a small corner. I’ll get better photos later, just need to know if I can afford it and how quickly someone could do it. I just put a random price as I have no clue what’s fair.

I need the front plastering fix- long story but last hired person left it like this. House inspection Monday. Can be basic and patched but need this to look presentable please. Was booked for today and he cancelled was due from 10am. So really stuck
