Hi there, my Honda’s sunroof won’t fully close. When I press the close button, it just opens and closes again. I have to use the arrow button to get it shut because the main “C” close button isn’t responding. It’s a Webasto Hollandia 700. May be the Cause: If the tilt button isn’t responding and the C (close) button isn’t responding, but the arrow buttons still work, that tells us something very specific: Your control panel/switch module is failing. The arrows work because they use a different internal contact. Tilt + Close both failing = the internal circuit for those buttons has failed. This is very common on the Hollandia 700 control units. Because your tilt button doesn’t work, the reset procedure cannot be done — the system won’t enter calibration mode without the tilt input. What this means Your sunroof motor and tracks are fine (because you can still move it with the arrows). The problem is almost certainly the switch panel, not the sunroof itself. Your next steps Option 1 — Replace the control panel (recommended) This is the normal fix. Simply unplug the old one and plug in the new one. After replacement, the tilt button will work again and you can do the reset if needed. Option 2 — Temporary workaround Until you replace the switch panel, keep using the arrow button to close it fully. There is no other way to reset or override the system if the tilt button is dead.

Downpipe has come loose from wall above garage

Ours is a double storied house with solar panels. We can see that pigeons are living under the solar panels. Need to remove pigeons, clean solar panels a bit and install a cover between solar panels and roof.

Gutter, approximately 7 meters needs to be replaced, also cracked grout to be repaired. See photos. Damage caused by someone backing into eave.

House at Melton Task 1: • There's a section of colourbond fence and a double gate at the front of the house, a picture shows how it was before the damage (highlighted in yellow). • The other 2 pictures show that the gate has sustained damage after the storm, seems like the frame of the left gate (where the lock is at) has torn off from the main frame and gate panel. • Would be the best if the broken frame can be welded back. Also needs advices on how to prevent further storm damage (like drilling holes on the gate to reduce wind resistance). Task 2: • The edge of the pergola roof above the kitchen window seems to have suffered from water damage, a chunk of the beam has broken off, exposing the screws that should be holding the roof panel to the beam. • Prefer to patch up the broken beam so that the roof panels can be held down again, without major rework.
