I’d like to lower the position of the pet door in the glass panel door. Open to suggestions, however have been advised to call in a carpenter to remove the wood panel/molding at the bottom of the door frame, slide the glass panel down to that lower position, and then use the original wood piece (cut to fit) to fill in the gap left at the top? Essentially just relocating the glass panel downward within the frame so the pet door sits closer to the ground, using the same materials that are already there

The job involves: Measuring the window opening accurately (the acrylic sheet needs to be trimmed by approximately 2cm, but measurements will need to be confirmed) Cutting the 2mm clear acrylic sheet to the correct size to fit securely into the window Cutting a hole suitable for my SureFlap Microchip Cat Door Installing the cat door into the acrylic panel and fitting it into the window Add a weather seal (I will reimburse the cost with receipt from Bunnings or similar) I’m happy for you to either: Come by, measure everything, take the acrylic away to cut, then return to install; or Complete the work here if you have the tools and prefer to do it onsite.
