We have some fairly old window roller shutters that have become detached during the process of resolving a tangled cable in the winding mechanism after the window was wound too much. The tangled cable has now been fixed and the winding mechanism is new, but I can't reconnect the shutters to the roller easily, and one slat of the shutters has detached. I'm not sure if something is bent so it no longer connects properly, or if it requires someone with more experience to put it back together. I just want to be able to wind the shutters up and down again.

Tasks include: demo, realigning cabinetry to compensate house movement, replacing /repairing timber power box door, patching rusty holes in Tin roof and painting, removing boards over Tasmanian oak floorboards (stapled), repairing and sealing an open fireplace, changing light fittings to name a few. An old 50’s gate requires sanding, painting white gloss, repair and repositioning (welding?) so it closes again. I have another double gate at the driveway that could be an extension of this job however unsure if I will keep it or remove. Being neat and clean is important. I’m on the hunt for a great handyman. I have lots of small jobs.

Manual Roller Shutter is broken. Has been broken since before moving into property. Winder does not work and shutter can only sit in closed or half open position.

Really basic job but I’m unsure of the right tool. Secure kitchen tap in place, I’ve tried tightening with my hands but it doesn’t hold and the tap comes lose

Hi there! I'm looking for an experienced hanger to assist with placing some items around the house. The main task would be a salon-style hang, with many items placed together (pictured attached). There is also a hang-it-all and one or two other items that might require anchors / drilling into brick. Thanks so much for your help!

We have the mounting brackets, screws and wall plugs for this. -Mount a dryer to a plaster wall, I have the brackets and mounting screws and the wall has been reinforced with metal rails. -Install 2 to towel rails and 2 hand towel hooks to a plaster wall. We have screws and wall plugs. -Install coat hooks to a plaster wall. We have the screws and wall plugs.

I’ve already put together the panels- it’s just the last bit of assembly I need help with.

Need to have a 4m X 3m manual folding arm awning installed to my brick wall as per picture, above the sliding doors, which is about 4.1m wide between gutter to the right and electric conduit to the left. The black downlight can be removed if it intrudes on install. Awning came with brackets, but need to supply your own drill, level, stepladder etc. Flexible with day/time.
