I have an older-style vertical blind that needs a couple of small repairs: The pull cord has come off/out of the rail, so the blind no longer moves across the window. It needs to be repaired/rethreaded so it moves across properly again. One of the bottom weights has a piece missing on the end and needs replacing. I believe this should be a fairly standard/easy-to-find part. The blind itself is otherwise fine, so I’m just looking for a simple, inexpensive repair rather than replacement. There is some of the bottoms that the material has come off a little and a chain needs a link but not much.

Hi, I’m in Montmorency and need a bathroom maintenance job done by a handyman/allrounder. The exhaust fan works and is good quality, but ventilation is poor. It is ducted outside (not into the roof). I need someone to check airflow, ducting condition, bends and the external vent to improve extraction (no fan replacement). There is mould around the fan and it barely extracts at all. I also need old silicone removed and replaced around the bath and part around the toilet, plus mould clean-up. The bathroom was renovated about 5 years ago. Can you quote or advise your hourly rate and availability?

We've bought a 3m x 2.25m gable roof shed from easyshed to be installed on a concrete base. (Tall gable Model ERG D3023) It comes with all parts and instructions. We have the sides and roof almost assembled but will not have a chance to complete it before the end of the week due to work commitments. We have visitors for Christmas on the weekend so cannot leave the shed lying out in the yard in pieces. Ideally 2 people would be great to work together on it as it needs 3 people to keep the walls erect in place whilst it's secured together- hubby or I can be the other person to help with this also. We have tools required such as drill, pop rivet gun, masonry drill, but if you have experience doing this kind of installation would assume you'd have your own tools to work with. Estimating between 5-7 hours' work for 2 people.

I’ve attempted to install a Milkcan clothesline on my sloping concrete driveway, but I’m struggling to get the post level both ways without using packers that end up showing and making it look really bad.
