I need a carpenter or experienced handyman to fit a door jamb/frame and hang a standard internal hinged door in an existing doorway opening. The opening currently has no proper door frame. The job will include measuring the opening, fitting the jamb/frame and architraves, hanging the door, and installing hinges and a handle/latch. I can purchase the door and materials once advised what is required, or you can quote to supply them. Please advise your availability and whether your offer includes labour only or labour and materials.

The door handle has come apart on a sliding door and needs replacing. I don’t have a door handle you’ll need this also. A have a towel rail that’s loose needs tightening/repair. Hopefully can be done today.

The door is the old wooden style, but it could do with some refurbishment (see photos) - I don't know if that's possible, also happy without. there is a fly screen door but that can be propped open as I imagine it's easier to do the one door rather than both.
