Trim existing wooden countertop, removing 52-53cm, to make room for a larger fridge. Cut(s) must be straight and neat. Doesn't strictly need to be today (01/05/2026), but it would be ideal. 1-3 cuts required. I believe the countertop wood is only attached on the right side, with the left being supported by a metal bracket using flathead screws. The rear doesn't appear to be attached, but could need to be carefully peeled away from the wall paint. I can attempt to remove the bracket before the job, but I haven't done so yet as whether or not I get the countertop cut will depend on cost. Please quote me with and without the bracket present.

The middle bracket hinge of the bathroom cabinet door won’t clip on. The slide out pantry fell off it’s rail.

Want a slightly darker/less orange colour that will not show as much dirt and not scratch so easily. The treatment on the floor currently is not enough for the foot traffic we get in the store. Scratching in one room but minimal scratching in the other. Both about 6x4 rooms

Hi! I’m looking for a carpenter / experienced handyman to build a simple under-stairs storage enclosure in my home in Fitzroy. This is not a full cabinetry job (no brickwork, no fancy joinery). A clean, well-finished plywood / MDF solution is perfect. What I’m after: • Timber frame following the slope of the staircase • Plywood or MDF partition panels with no skirting • One full-height door, located at the tallest section • Door to be flush, minimal and clean; no visible handles (push-to-open or concealed finger reveal) • ideally white to match existing walls. No shelves required inside (open walk-in storage). The enclosure should run from the very start of the staircase to maximise storage. Originally the cabinetry was built for a freestanding oven. But I had an issue with the oven and ended up swapping to a cooktop and seperate oven. A carcass has been built for the oven to sit in but I need the gaps finished off. It’s the gap at the top, kicker at the bottom and the sides. I have the materials left over from the original cabinet maker. If I don’t have enough there is additional panels in the fridge area which might need to removed to use. The cabinetry I have isn’t available anymore.

I have recently removed the horizontal rails from my kitchen cabinet capping in an effort to simplify it. The timber underneath the rails had not been stained and so I now require the capping (or the sections where the rails used to be) to be restained. I have purchased a 250ml tin of which I believe to be the correct stain colour. Unsure if this will be a sufficient quantity.

The capping on my timber kitchen cabinets includes ornate, vertical beams. I am looking to have these beams removed to simplify the capping. The rails appear to be attached by nails, as shown in the photographs. The timber underneath the rails has not been stained and so would need to be stained to match.
