I have 2 boys staying in a 7-8m2 bedroom and need wooden bunk beds built to fit the space. I have custom mattresses 172cm long, 80cm wide at head and 70cm wide at foot. (See diagram attached) Looking to have someone build a set of wooden bunks to fit the space and those mattresses. The measured space is 173cm long in the room. Will need to remove a bench top and part of book case to free the space (see photos) as part of it. The bunk is to sit where the bench top is in the photo. The bunk beds should be wooden with a ladder to top bunk, with a safety rail (one side only) on top bunk. It should have 25cm clearance under bottom bunk for storage for their school bags, basketballs and shoes. Both boys to have enough clearance in their beds to sit up. If someone can do a nice job it will free up space for the boys and give them a bed they are happy and proud of. We live in a 43m2 apartment so space is limited. Would likely ask you about further work including additional small wardrobe and raised shelves above couch area etc to extend our storage options but today it is about building a bunk bed for the kids in a confined space. Cost is for labour. You are expected to have your own necessary tools. Materials cost to be passed on separately

Looking for someone to repair parts of the ceiling of the unit downstairs affected by old water staining/peeling paint. The original issue was caused by blocked balcony drainage above, but the drainage was fixed immediately afterwards and there is no ongoing leak. Photos show the two affected areas. This is a relatively small cosmetic repair - just needs to be professionally finished to meet the property owner's expectations. No major structural replacement is expected. Need someone to install 3 new internal door handles. The existing handle holes are slightly too large. The round rose just covers the hole, but there’s not enough timber underneath for the mounting screws to secure properly. The doors will likely need small timber infills/repairs so the screws have something solid to bite into. The strike plate/latch recesses also need a small amount of chiselling for the new hardware to fit correctly. The new handles are on site and I’d ideally need done tonight or first thing tomorrow morning.

I have a timber window frame in my apartment that has cracked/peeling paint and possible minor wood rot. The window also gets very damp in winter and I recently had a millipede come in, so I want the gaps sealed properly. Scope of work: * Scrape and remove loose/flaking paint on the window frame (inside, possibly small touch outside if accessible) * Fill cracks and any minor damaged timber with wood filler * Seal gaps around the frame and glass with appropriate sealant to prevent moisture and bugs getting in * Optional: light sanding and touch-up paint (white) if included This is a first-floor apartment. Inside access is easy. Outside access may be possible with a ladder but only if safe. Looking for someone experienced with basic carpentry/handyman work, especially timber window repairs. I have a back external deck that is approx. 5m. x 6.5 m. including two sets of wide stairs.
