One of the four soft-close hinges on a tall kitchen cabinet door has come away from the door. The hinge cup and screws have pulled out and the hole in the door edge is chipped/stripped, so it won't just screw back in. Looking for someone to repair the hole properly (dowel and glue, timber filler, or whatever you'd recommend) and refit the hinge so the door hangs and closes correctly. Door is currently hanging on the remaining three hinges. What's involved: Repair/re-anchor the stripped 35mm hinge cup hole in the door Refit the existing hinge (Blum-style clip-on soft close — I still have it and the screws) Realign the door so it sits flush with the others and closes cleanly Quick check of the other three hinges on this door while you're here Please bring your own tools and any filler/dowel/glue needed. I have the hinge and screws. Cabinetry experience preferred — I'd rather it's done once and done properly than a quick fix that pulls out again. Photos attached.

This will entail the installation of self closing and self latching devices on up to 9 doors as well as adjusting 6 windows to ensure their opening is restricted to 125mm. The door and frame are in good condition with no major damage. I do not need replacement or major repair. I mainly want to bring back the timber colour and make the entrance look fresh again. We have recently got a deck built on our side yard. We will buy the stain from Bunnings. We require someone to apply the stain for us. The area for decking is roughly 2.37 m x 1.05 m. 2.37 being the longest edge.

We require the beading replaced on two ground floor windows (Note: triangular beading is tacked on and has to be replaced not patched) and replacement (cutting out of rotten wood and letting in replacement hardwood, not patching) to the base and bottom of an external door, all due to wood rot. Photos show the areas in question but please ask if additional questions. All are on the ground floor so easy access. Whilst I could probably do this I doubt it would end well! Happy to just have repairs only done to woodwork which I will then paint.

Remove oven replace wooden frame (wood veneer) and re-install oven. Currently there is a gap around the oven, specially at the top, as the new oven is smaller than the old. Please see pictures attached

I’m looking for a carpenter or joiner to help build a simple arch feature on a wall in a small meditation room. The idea is to create a clean arch shape on the wall with soft LED lighting behind it (similar to the photo attached). Nothing too complicated – just neat and minimal. The wall already exists. The job would be: • build the arch frame on the wall • install LED strip to create a soft glow behind the arch quote must include the materials too There will eventually be a cabinet running across the wall, but that cabinet and stone top are not part of this job. The arch will sit centred on the wall above where the cabinet will go. The room is indoors and easy to access. Ideally looking for someone who has done feature walls or similar carpentry work before.
