Hi there. We need to upgrade our electrical switchboard (putting in a 36 module Clipsal switchboard). The dimension of the switchboard is: Height : 560mm Width : 345mm Depth : 106mm In order the install a switchboard in a cupboard, the electrician has advised that we need to have our existing cupboard built out so that the switchboard can be brought up to the front as described below: The carpenter will need to box out the cupboard so that we can fit the switchboard on the face. Please make sure to build the box out larger than the width and height of switchboard dimensions mentioned above. Please also allow for enough depth for us to install the switchboard as well as being able to close the cupboard door when switchboard is installed. We will also need the front face to be able to be removed for ease of running existing and new cables behind the switchboard. There is already an existing switchboard in the cupboard that has been built out for reference of what needs to be done. Attached is a photo with a red outline of where we would like to install the new switchboard (ie. the part of the cupboard that needs to be built out). The existing switchboard that will be replaced is visible just right of this area.
