Hi I need someone to fix a dishwasher that is failing to draw in water to clean dishes.

We’ve recently moved apartments and have unfortunately had some difficulty connecting our washing machine to the water tap. We’ve been advised that seal tape is required and have purchased this from Bunnings (please see attached photo).
