Need help hand a mirror on the wall and install a washing machine

I have recently purchased a new rangehood to replace an old one. The installer for the rangehood didn't tell me that because the new rangehood is smaller/shorter than the old one, it would not be properly vented into the ceiling cavity, and that there will be a gap (see photo). I have attached photos which shows this (also have a video). What I need is for proper ducting, and/or whatever else that is recommended, to ensure that this rangehood is vented properly into the ceiling cavity so that I can use my rangehood without all the air blowing back out into the room.

Anyone to install a portable dishwasher. need an adaptor for the water to come in the system. Any advice to properly set it up in place, so it's nice and organised to the eye. The water tap doesn't have a screwing terminal that matches the water cable provided. So need you to fix this for me. Thanks. Ask me if you need to know more
