Purpose: safely and efficiently remove small brass threaded valves/necks from empty non-refillable cylinders such as Smartwhip-style N2O canisters, Billi/Zip tap CO2 bottles, and cream chargers, so the metal can be recycled. This is currently done manually with a rattle gun and special socket. I want to improve efficiency and safety by building a simple station where the cylinder is clamped securely and the valve area is guarded. Important: all cylinders are checked/vented before this step. This is not for gas filling, gas handling, or pressure work. It is only for mechanical removal of valves from already-checked cylinders. I still want fallback safety in case residual gas ever remains.
