We need to repair or replace the motors (actuators) on 6 ‘awning’ windows. They are hinged at the top, and open from the bottom. They are all opened electrically with motors (actuators) which have a Somfy remote control. Five of the motors are not working reliably. One always works and sometimes another one works, but not reliably. We need someone to repair or replace the motors and possibly the Somfy remote control. The remote control night need to be re-connected to the motors. The windows are quite high; the motors at the bottom of the windows are 3 metres above the ground.

Sliding door handle has separated from glass - some kind of plastic bracket has broken. I have tried to reattach but it has ended up coming off again

I’m looking for a builder/handyman for a small job in Newtown 2042. I need someone to (i) source a new external solid wooden door; (ii) install a dog flap I’ve purchased into the new door; and (iii) take down the old door, and hang the new door (with dog flap) in the existing frame. I’ll also need the lock from the current door moved onto the new door. I will keep the old door in storage. I've attached photos of the existing door/frame/hinges/lock for reference, as well as a picture of the dog flap I've purchased. The lock was recently serviced, and the hinges look to be in good condition - neither should need replacing. The current door is 203.5cm H x 80.5cm W x 4.0cm D. The top edge of the lock unit in the existing door is 122cm high (from the base of the door), and it's inside edge is 9.5cm in from the side edge of the door. Fix slightly scraping hinged patio door My back patio hinged door has recently started lightly scraping at the bottom when opening/closing. It looks like it just needs a quick hinge adjustment or tightening to lift it a few millimetres. The door and frame are in good condition — just a small alignment issue. Looking for someone with basic door/handyman experience to adjust the hinges so the door opens smoothly again. Should be a quick job.

I need to hang a new timber door for a small bathroom. The frame is in place etc. All I need is for the hinges to be attached and for the lock mechanism to also be incorporated. For some reason, the previous owners of our house have removed the latch from the door frame. We need a latch reattached and a new handle. Doesn’t need to have a lock but just needs to close properly. Once we can confirm who is doing the task, we will supply the handle and latch.
