I have began to paint rub down and fill a small toilet and bathroom but need a professional decorator to come and take over. They must be neat and able to give a professional finish. They should also be able to work quickly and not take numerous breaks.

Reposting as have been let down twice by the guy I had lined up to do the job… Back in February the upstairs flat had a leaky sink tap which caused some minor damage to our bathroom ceiling below. It’s now fully dry and in need of redecorating. Have attached a photo of the damage initially and now that it’s dry. The biggest patch is above the bathroom window and there is also a small patch on the ceiling above the door. Just need these small sections making good again. FYI this is what the previous contractor had intended to do: “scrape and sand watermarks, fill if necessary and then stainblock the whole ceiling and once dry give the ceiling another full coat of Dulux easy care bathroom paint in white.” If you’d like to take a look before quoting our tenants can be available most evenings after 5:30pm. Looking for an experienced plasterer to carry out a small plaster repair in my top-floor Victorian flat in SE27 (Gipsy Road). The issue is in the corner where two walls meet the ceiling – the plaster has cracked and lifted slightly in a few places (see photos attached). The area affected is roughly 1–2 sqm and has been assessed by a decorator as not structural, but needing patching and re-skimming to achieve a smooth, paint-ready finish. Scope of work: - Cut away and remove any loose or lifted plaster - Prepare the surface for bonding/skimming - Re-skim the area and ensure a flush, clean finish - Optional: light sanding if needed once dry - Tidy up afterwards Details: - Flat is top floor with good access - Street parking available (free after 6:30pm) - Job is indoors and can be done anytime during the day (or early evening if preferred) - Ideal timeframe: within the next week if possible Please bring your own tools and materials (including a ladder - I have high ceilings).
