Would like to have a carpenter make me a vanity unit for our small bathroom

I have the carcasses of Ikea Pax which are already built but I would like one to be chopped down to be thinner and fit nicely inside my alcove. I need about 100mm cutting off. Then I need some joinery for the top to create a storage cupboard above the wardrobe

I am project managing the renovation of a large, detached Victorian house in Broomhouse Road SW6 3QU which is in Fulham. We have just lost one of our carpenters and the replacement has been unable to come. I was wondering if you or anyone in your team would be interested in joining our other carpenter in fitting out the house with the intended joinery. We work on a day rate basis and the work is varied from basic stuff like hanging doors to intricate panelling, cupboards, built-in seating and staircase work. The carpenter we have lost was in fact just out of his apprenticeship and was very flexible in his willingness to take on a variety of work, not all of it carpentry; so I would be interested in someone at that level as well as an experienced carpenter – up to the level of cabinet maker. - Due date: Flexible

I have a wooden sash window that keeps falling forward into the living room. The window slides up and down with no problem , but the part of the frame that stops it falling forward has split (somene tugged the window forwrds, not upwards!) and I am looking for someone to mend the frame so the window does not fall forward anymore. Small job for a carpenter or handyman - fix castors on t.v. cabinet. I have a wooden t.v. cabinet bought a few years ago. The cabinet is on castors. Whilst the cabinet was being moved, one of the castors was broken off, and another was loosened. I need a handyman to fix this. Ideally, I would like to get a whole new set of castors attached to wooden blocks which would be themselves be attached somehow to the bottom of the cabinet - or any other better solution - so that the cabinet can then be wheeled around again. We need a skilled carpenter to install a plank at the entrance to our bathroom. The wood should be oak to match the existing floor and we don't want a raised saddle board - the floor should meet the tile seamlessly. We also need the tasker to source the material. The visible dimensions are 78cm X 13.7cm, but the gap extends beneath the door frame.
