Heating engineer / plumber needed – radiators not heating (HIU system) Description: Looking for a qualified heating engineer or plumber experienced with HIU / communal heating systems. Issue: - I replaced one radiator in the flat. - After bleeding the radiator and adjusting valves, the new radiator does not heat properly. - It briefly heated from the bottom when other radiators were closed, but then stopped again. - Now most radiators in the flat are not heating, even with TRVs open. - Hot water still works normally. System details: - Flat has a HIU (heat interface unit) / communal heating system, not a standard boiler. - Radiators were working before the radiator replacement. There’s a small leak - water trickling into the toilet from the cistern after flushing and a double flush doesn’t stop it.

We recently had work done on the toilet. It was very difficult to attach the toilet to the plumbing in the back wall. But now realised the the pedestol is moving slightly. Need it fixed down ideally.

The hot tub pump needs cleaning. First, disconnect it from the liner. Then, flush all three water pipes with the available hose and remove any debris using a screwdriver or another suitable tool. You must bring your own tools to extract debris. It’s a straightforward task!
