We have just moved in to a property that has a ceiling fan and light in the hallway. The light works but the fan does not. The previous tenant said it did not work and when a previous electrician came out said it was missing a connection/wire that prevented it from working. We are hoping this is incorrect and would like another opinion as we are not sure why a fan would be installed yet not work.

We want to remove the existing swing door and install a pocket door to save space. This may require moving the actual door frame slightly too, meaning part of the current wall will need to be knocked down and rebuilt. The budget number is a loose guess based on the potential complication of the job - I'm trusting that someone more qualified than me will be able to advise if it's off the mark! It's the middle door in the pictures, taken from inside and outside of the bedroom to illustrate that the doorway will likely need to be moved to create enough space for the sliding door.

The integrated fridge and freezer are located beside each other in the kitchen. But when closing the fridge, the cupboard doors clash and the freezer door has to be opened before being able to fully close the fridge. This may be due to hinge misalignment but unsure at this moment

Looking for CCTV to be installed on a 3 bedroom house with side garage.

Small side tiled area next to shower tray ( approx 20 cm by 80 cm) has cracks and isn’t sloped right so the water doesn’t run into the shower tray but instead out on to the bathroom floor. I need to have these few old tiles taken out, fix surface underneath to provide proper slope and then retile and seal . Also fit shower door/ screen once this is done. I will provide tiles , grout and sealer but would appreciate whoever does the job to bring a piece of waterproof backing board as we’d otherwise have to buy a whole sheet for just this tiny piece needed. Budget is for total work , but could be done on two shorter sessions on different days, I e one to take out, fix underneath and tile and another to grout, fit shower screen and seal
