I need a handyman to come and fit Venetian blinds to my window.

Venetian Blinds to be fitted on 1 Bay Window

Four roller blinds taken down and four new ones put up

Pleated blind needs restring on one side.

String has snapped on one side of pleated blind.

I’ve ordered some made-to-measure faux-wood (PVC) shutters with mitred “puzzle” style corner joints, but both sets are just a little too wide for the recesses. On each window, the two vertical frame pieces need about 3 mm trimmed off the long edge (so 6 mm total reduction per window). The cut runs close to the mitred puzzle joint at the ends, so it will need to be neat and precise to make sure the joints still lock together properly. this for two shutter frames

We need three blinds installed into 2 recessed brick window frames (the bay window will have two blinds, and the bedroom window will have 1 blind). The blinds are from Blinds2Go and are designed for recess fitting (inside the window frame). Important Notes: The window frames are brick, so you will need a masonry drill bit and appropriate wall plugs/fixings. Please bring your own tools + materials (I do have a level if required)

Looking for a Handyman to Install Two Kitchen Blinds Hi there! We’re looking for a handyman to help us install two roller blinds in our kitchen. It’s a simple, standard job — just removing the old blinds and installing the new ones in the same place. The blinds are to be fitted inside the window recess, and we already have the measurements: • One blind is 45 cm wide • The other is 168 cm wide All fittings and brackets will be provided. It’s an easy job that’s usually done DIY, but we’d prefer to have it professionally fitted for a clean and secure finish. We’re based in Whestone Barnet area. Thanks!

I want to order some blinds from Blinds2go and need them assembled

2 x windows have become stuck (I think due to outside paintwork). Blind wont stay closed/up

I'm installing horizontal blinds (about 1.2m x 1.9m) in the window reveal of our two skylights. See the images attached. The blinds are already assembled, and I have already marked out on the reveal where I need to insert 6x rule plugs/screws to support the side rails of each blind. I'm looking for help actually doing the 'final install' as clearly the size of the blinds makes this a two-man job! I have a 5-rung step ladder which is good enough for one person doing the 'supporting' but I'm looking for handyman with a 6-rung ladder or platform that can get us a bit higher to drill into the wall horizontally / screw in the blinds and complete the installation. I have a very basic drill but a more powerfull one would be better. With the right kit I imagine the job should not take more than 1 hour.

Put up 1 curtain pole (likely to be into a concrete lintel) and 2 x wooden Venetian blinds.

A bedroom blind has fallen down for the second time. I wonder if it needs bigger screws or more fastenings to keep it up.
