Garden maintenance & lawn mowing
Regular garden maintenance is important to keep your property neat, under control, and looking its best. Whether you need a one-off tidy-up, maintenance while you’re away on holiday, or regular upkeep, a gardener can help.
Lawn mowing will start by clearing the area with a general garden tidy-up. Then your gardener will mow all grass areas, including your front and back lawn and footpath. Then, they’ll use the brushcutter to whipper snip any edges. Gardeners can also help in pruning your trees, hedge trimming, raking up leaves, and doing garden clearance to remove debris.
Weeding & pest control
Gardens can struggle to flourish thanks to problems like weeds and pests that eat or crowd out your plants and lawn. As part of routine garden maintenance, your local gardeners can help by weeding your lawn by hand or spraying lawns with herbicides that kill the weeds without affecting the type of grass you’re growing.
Your gardener will also work to prevent weeds in the future by mulching around plants over a layer of newspaper or cardboard, so weeds can’t go through. Lawn restoration
If your lawn’s been overrun by weeds or it’s looking a bit dead or bare in patches, your gardener can help with lawn restoration and turfing, too. Part of lawn maintenance and gardening work is levelling out any holes, aerating the lawn to encourage healthy growth, adding nutrients, spreading the correct seed variety, and adjusting the pH of your soil. Whatever needs to be taken away following the lawn maintenance will be added to the garden clearance.Â

A TaskRabbit was booked for now but just canceled. We need the front weeded. It's a sloped front. 3 wooden beds and some paved flags. Only weed to the 3rd wooden bed. The 3rd bed by the bay window is a marker for Japanese knotweed which is on year 6 of 10 year management plan and shouldn't be disturbed. There's a shovel in the front coal store opposite the front door. There's some tools in the back garden but these are quite old whereas the shovel was an October purchase. Ideally you'd have tools so we don't need property access with the tenants. When I'm home I do it with gloves only. - Due date: Flexible

I have about 5-6 plants that need repotting. I have the pots and the soil, basic scoop. Repotting can be done on the balcony weather permitting. I also have enough of space in the apartment hardwood floor to do the repotting. - Due date: Before Friday, 9 February 2024
Repotting amazingly done, she cane prepared with tools and protective cover for the surface, gave a lot of helpful advice and helped me propagate a plant that was dying.

We would like someone to attend our property and do 4 hours' gardening work on the front and back garden, to make them presentable for some photos which are being taken the following day. This will involve - mowing front and back lawns - clearing leaves and twigs and any stray rubbish from gardens, packing into refuse sacks. - throwing away leaves in local bins - disposing of an old metal BBQ in local bins - generally tidying garden areas to be presentable The lawn mower will be provided, and refuse sacks, but not gardening gloves.
