I'm looking for an experienced gardener/garden-clearance person to carry out a one-off clearance of a small, fully paved/concrete front garden in East Dulwich. There is no lawn or landscaping work required. The main job is the complete removal of the established hedges/shrubs and other overgrown vegetation around the garden, rather than simply trimming, reducing or reshaping them. I have attached photos which show the current condition and extent of the hedges and vegetation. I would like the plants cut down to their bases and roots/stumps removed where they are readily accessible. However, I do not want any concrete, paving stones, fencing, the shed, brickwork or other structures damaged, disturbed or removed in order to extract roots or stumps. Where a plant/root originates from beneath or extends underneath the concrete or paving, it should simply be cut back as close to ground level as reasonably possible rather than being forcibly removed. If any vegetation encountered during the work turns out to originate from my next-door neighbour’s front garden it should only be cut back to the property boundary and should not be removed at its source. However, I believe that all of the hedges/shrubs and vegetation shown in the attached photos originate from my front garden. The job includes: · Cutting down and removing the established hedges/shrubs and other unwanted vegetation. · Removing readily accessible roots/stumps. · Cutting any roots/stumps that cannot be safely removed back as close to ground level as reasonably possible. · Removing overgrown foliage encroaching towards the house/patio doors. · Removal and disposal of all plant pots currently in the garden. · Removing loose/dead plant growth where this can be done without damaging the brickwork, paving stones, fencing or shed. · Minor weeding around the paving stones and edges of the garden. · Clearing fallen leaves and other garden debris. · Sweeping and leaving the entire paved area clean and tidy afterwards. · Removal and lawful disposal of all cuttings, green waste and other garden waste generated by the work. There are also some old climbing stems attached to the brickwork of my house (at ground floor and first floor level). These can be removed where they come away safely, but nothing should be forcibly pulled or scraped from the brickwork if there is a risk of damaging the bricks or mortar. When making an offer, please confirm that your price includes all labour and removal/disposal of all resulting garden waste. Please also confirm that you will bring all tools and equipment required to complete the job, as I am unable to provide these. The £200 budget is a guide and I am open to reasonable offers based on the scope of the work described above and shown in the photos. The garden is directly accessible from the street, and there is free parking around the back of the property. Equally, there is free parking on the street at weekends.
