Hi there, I’m looking for quotes for an exterior paint refresh to help prepare a house for sale. Job is single storey with generally good access. Scope of works: 1) Rear weatherboards (3 sides) – approx 3m high – lengths approx 10m + 6m + 6m (total ~22m) – Colour change to a deep navy / blue-grey – Includes prep + required undercoat/primer + topcoats for full coverage 2) Front verandah roof iron – Only the verandah roof iron sheets (not the tiled main roof) – Clean + rust treatment if needed – Prime + 2 coats roof paint 3) Timber trims – Repaint verandah/posts (white) – existing paint has some peeling – Paint fascia/bargboards/eaves trims as needed 4) Windows – 5 window frames external repaint – 3 window shades/awnings Requirements: – Please include prep, minor filling, sanding/scraping loose paint where required – Provide either: a fixed price quote, or a breakdown by area / day rate – Must include materials OR specify labour-only clearly – Must clean up and leave site tidy Photos: Photos attached of front verandah + rear weatherboards. Few beams along back verandah that dogs have chewed that need fixing before we move in july 2026 (date would let me change). Looking around for quotes. Including labour and materials. Negotiation on price. Single mother and pensioner.

The existing timber verandah railings are rotting and need to be replaced. The existing design is upright timber with a breadloaf along the top. The posts are ok. Flooring is timber. We want a simple criss cross pattern. Not sure of the material to be used whether to go with timber again or aluminium, depending on pricing. It's a long verandah with returns at each end.

Attach stainless steel angle brackets to verandah frame and roofing sheets to prevent possible loose roof panels. All parts and materials supplied and installed. Testing on all existing roof sheets for unsecured roof sheets, and attach as and where needed.

Please quote for wood rot in post and beam of verandah, also bottom of a garage door. I will have a painter finish the job. Budget flexible as I’m insure of the scope of work. Thank you!

I have four blinds I’d like attached to my back verandah. May or may not be straight forward as metal edge of pergola is thin metal and hollow behind it not solid metal. Not sure if strong enough to hold blinds. Maybe some timber behind it might give it extra support to drill into(?) Please come and have a look first if you like before submitting offer.
