We have had plumbers jack hammer the floor to replace a drain costing thousands of dollars. After the concrete was done now some of the floorboards have to be replaced. Need someone to supply and lay out new engineered floorboards. We don’t have the exact engineered timber floorboards any more.

I am looking for someone with specific experience in timber deck maintenance and oiling (not just a general handyman) to perform some routine upkeep on my roof deck. Deck Size: 3.8m x 4.8m (approx. 18.2m²) Please see the attached photo for reference. Scope of Work: 1. Clear the deck: Move pots, outdoor furniture, firewood, and other items off the surface. 2. Deep clean: Thoroughly sweep and wash the deck (including between the boards) using a specialized, appropriate timber/deck cleaner. 3. Inspect and prep: Check for minor issues like rough areas, splinters, or raised screws and address them. Lightly spot-sand any areas that need it (a full sand is not required unless you deem it absolutely necessary). 4. Oil/Stain: Apply the appropriate number of coats (likely two) of an outdoor decking oil or stain to restore and protect the timber. The goal is to match the existing treatment. 5. Pot risers: Supply and place small pot feet/risers underneath the larger pots to prevent them from sitting directly on the wood and trapping moisture. 6. Pack up: Once the deck is completely dry, put all the furniture, firewood, and pots back in their original places. Important Requirements: 1. All-Inclusive: Your offer must include all labour and materials (the deck cleaner, the decking oil/stain, and the pot feet/risers). 2. Product check: Please advise what specific oil/stain product you propose using in your offer. 3. Experience: Please only apply if you have specific experience with deck maintenance and can show good reviews for similar tasks.

I recently had a hot water leak in the laundry that spilled into the adjoining kitchen / hall area. At the time, all visible water was removed and professional dehumidifiers /dryers were used, so I believed everything had dried properly. I was then away overseas and have just returned to find that sections of the floating timber flooring have started to buckle/lift and gaps have appeared between some boards. Approximately 5-6 boards are affected. They also had a heavy piece of furniture pushing pressure onto it which may have contributed to the uneven expansion / shrinkage. The floors were already older / not in perfect condition, so I’m not looking to replace the entire floor. I’m hoping to salvage and repair the existing boards wherever possible. I’m looking for an experienced timber flooring specialist who can assess the affected area, including checking the timber and underneath for residual / trapped moisture. I understand the repair may need to be completed in two stages: initially lifting / removing the affected boards so the area underneath can be properly inspected and, if necessary, allowed to dry completely; then returning once moisture levels are appropriate to relay / reseat and repair the existing flooring. Ideally you will have a moisture meter and experience with water-damaged floating timber floors. The priority is making sure everything underneath is properly dry before the floor is closed back up, while preserving as much of the existing flooring as possible. I have ripped up all of the old carpet from four rooms but need someone to remove all of the staples around the edge of the rooms and clean the floors so they are ready to be oiled

Replace a broken timber on my deck. Supply and install. No need to stain or lacquer. Timber is around 1.2m long

Approx. 27 m long × 2.5 m high (approx. 67.5 m²), one visible side. Scope: • Thoroughly clean and prepare timber • Sand weathered/rough areas and provide an even finish • Apply two coats of supplied exterior Merbau timber stain/oil, following manufacturer instructions • Protect paving, plants, pool glass and adjacent surfaces from dust/stain • Include all labour, drop sheets, masking and cleanup etc Materials and equipment supplied including hand sander, stain and applicator. Please quote based on experience with Merbau/timber screening and advise estimated duration. Photos attached.

Multiple small gaps in floorboards , need small gaps filled with wood coloured gap filler. House is on piers- easy access. Easy job- I can’t do it as I’ve just had surgery.

Rough sand of posts and 2 coats of Aqua deck which i have. Only sun facing posts are worse as in last image.

Floors are 4 years old. Some chips and scratches I'd like repaired/concealed where possible. I'd like a coating (probably polyurethane type?) that will better protect the floor and last a good while before needing recoating/refinishing again. Current finish appears to be fairly natural/matte or satin. I'd like to go for satin this time for a slightly better and modern look. Area (in metres) Living: 6 x 4 Laundry area: 1.5 x 1.5 Hallway: 4.9 x 1.1 Entry to bedroom 1 x 1.6 I would do it myself but want someone with experience in floor surfacing suck as this to provide the right guidance and excellent products with a professional finish. The handrail has already been mostly prepared. I just need someone with the right tools and attention to detail to carry out the final sanding so it's smooth and ready for staining or clear coating.
