Looking for quotes to sand and change the colour of the existing timber floorboards in my 2-bedroom unit. In the attached floor plan, the cream-coloured areas show the timber floorboards to be completed: both bedrooms, living room, dining area, entry and hallway. The kitchen is also shown in cream, but I have not yet decided whether to keep timber there or install tiles, so please quote the kitchen separately. The main purpose of the work is to change the floor colour. Please also include sanding, smoothing scratches, filling gaps or imperfections, minor repairs if required, and applying a durable protective finish. I have timber floorboards with several surface scratches. I’m not looking to replace the boards, but would like to know if the scratches can be made less visible through coating, polishing, or patching up.
